Dragon Round 1 - Llandegla, Wales

While Nat was at the Gorrick series picking up a great 2nd place, three of the team took a long trip to Wales for the first round of the new Welsh Dragon series.

Ben had a great start and found himself with one for company as they passed the start/finish for the first time. He was unable to hold his companions wheel though, but after slipping back to second place rode a comfortable race to finish second and pick up some National Ranking Points.

In the Elite race, it was going to be a tough day for Chris and Paul as the British cycling Team rolled in, bringing with them World Junior Bronze medalist David Fletcher.

Chris had a good start and after a hard weeks training managed to hold his own in a quality field finishing in a respectable 8th place. Paul had been nursing a cold all week and struggled to get going finishing in a disappointing 10th place.
