Race Report!
Brickendon Time Trial Series – Brickendon Green, Hertfordshire
Orange Monkey have taken part in the Brickendon TT Series for years and are keen to take part as often as possible throughout the summer series. The short Time Trials held every Tuesday evening are a great way to improve speed and keep the legs ticking over throughout the summer months! Paul and Mark are the most regular Monkey’s with occasional appearances from Alex, Nat, Graham and Will.
The course is very hilly with two major climbs and is just less than 10 miles in length. There are lots of factors to take into account when competing in a TT, including the wind speed, bike, aerodynamics and traffic which makes every Tuesday different and keeps the Monkey’s firmly on there toes!
This year Paul and Mark both have the aim of beating their PB’s (Personal Bests) so watch out for their weekly times.
