Three Monkeys’ came out of the Jungle for the weekend to compete in the 3rd round of the National Trophy Cyclo-Cross race in Leicestershire. Coming from the humid atmosphere of the Jungle it was some shock when thy encountered the temperature up north and it was this that ended Paul’s hopes as he failed to finish the race in the freezing conditions.
Earlier in the morning it had been the two youngsters that had done the team proud with Alex in his first ever cross race finishing 10th in the under 14 category and Nat having another solid ride into 26th place.
It was a tough day and there was a lot of respect for anyone who attempted to take on the rain wind and temperature that awaited.
Paul enjoyed the sliding on two wheels but not the freezing conditions…
