Race Report!

 

National Trophy Cyclo-Cross Championships – Sutton Park, Birmingham

Nat Jarvis		25th		Youth
Alex Baker		6th		Youth		(under 14)

 

Our two youngsters were put into action at the pinnacle of the cross season, The National Championships.  With the full support of the rest of the team encouraging them from the sidelines both boys put up absolutely superb performance as they gave everything they had in there first Cyclo-cross championship event.

 

Nat gave his all throughout the entire race…

 

It was a tough course with a cheeky hurdle section at the bottom of the bomb hole, some technical singletrack and some dragging climbs.  They both set off at the same time but with Alex in the under 14 category and Nat in the 15-16 age group.  It was a fast paced race eventually won by Luke Gray, and one that both boys got immense experience from as they start to bring their Cyclo-Cross seasons to a close and begin to concentrate n the MTB season ahead!
