Gorrick Spring Series Rd 3 – Crowthorne

Nat Jarvis		29th		Open

 

Our two young monkey boys took the short trip to round 3 of the Gorrick Spring Series for some valuable winter training as they both prepare for an important year in there respective categories.

 

Alex was first off, riding in the youth category, one above his age group where he has so far enjoyed some great success already picking up podium positions in previous rounds.  This time though a mechanical off the start put him to the back of the field and it took a big effort to get back in touch with what was a strong field of riders. 

 

Alex was flying once he sorted out his mechanical mishaps…

 

Alex eventually finished 8^th, half way through the field after showing great resilience to get on with the job after such a problematic start.

 

Nat was again punching above his weight as he went into a strong field of adult riders in the open category as he keeps one eye on the tough task of stepping up to the Junior category in 2009.  Nat produced another good display finishing in 29^th position in a huge field of 91 riders.

 

Nat had a solid race in the open category…
