Gorrick Spring Series Rd 2 – Tunnel Hill

As two of our senior monkeys took the long trip up the M6 to Wales, our two younger monkeys took the shorter trip round the M25 to take part in the second round of the Gorrick Spring Series and once again came away with some fantastic results as they both strive on in pursuit of success.

 

On the expert advice of Team Manger Norris, the two boys took a step up and punched above there weight as Nat took on the seniors in the 3 lap open race and Alex took on the 15 – 16 year olds in the youth category.  What a wise move it turned out to be as Nat finished his 3 laps 23^rd out of 122 riders all of whom were over the age of 18!!  Alex took home a podium position for the second week running in the youth category.  The 13 year old looked comfortable as he whizzed his way through a tough field of 15 – 16 year olds!

 

Alex kept it cool on his way to a 3^rd place finish in the Youth category…

 

Both boys are improving week upon week and as the new season approaches in earnest the future is looking very bright indeed!
