Its perfect in the Jungle right now…

 

Orange Monkey were firing on three fronts this weekend with Matt making his debut in the Gorrick MTB round 4, Alex travelling up to the Midlands MTB round 1 and Paul, Mark, Will and Nat doing a local 10 mile Time Trial.

 

On his debut matt took his first podium for Orange monkey finishing a magnificent 3^rd place at the Gorrick whilst further up the M1 Alex had taken top spot in the Juvenile category at the first round of a tough midlands course.

 

Paul and Mark paired up for their annual assault at the Brickendon 2 up TT (a local hilly time trial in Hertfordshire) which they won by 3 seconds from respected riders Craig Simpson and Phil Cooper.  Will and Nat also took on the gruelling course finishing a respectable 8^th place amongst a predominantly senior field.

 

So, all in all, a fantastic weekend for Orange monkey as they start to show their strength in depth competing in various events across the country and bringing no less than 3 podium positions back to Jungle HQ!  a bright outlook indeed for the season ahead!
