Paul is an original monkey and was one of the founders alongside Will, after over 10 years in the sport he has some good experience but still with plenty to learn. Paul finished 7th overall in the national rankings in 2007 and has earned his Elite license. Now he has reached his previous goal of racing in the top category he now aims to work his way up through the category and race abroad. Whilst offering advice to the younger team members, Paul manages the team trying to insure that preparation and training is done to perfection!

Who are some of the most important people in your life and career?

My mum and Dad have always followed me and given me support when i needed them the most. My girlfriend gives me amazing support following me around the country giving me fantasic encouragement.

Favourite place to ride?

Verbier, Switzerland - The most most beautiful and demanding place in the world!

Best moment on a bike?

Coming across the finish line in front of thousands of spectators at the GRC (the hardest mountain bike race in the world)in Switzerland after nearly 11 hours of riding, no other feeling compares! And getting my Elite license - realising my dream!

Whats the best aspect of being a monkey?

The team of talented cyclists that keep me busy all year round, I couldnt ask for a better bunch of guys!
